The Ma-Nyango Association recently concluded its Education Support Drive, a major campaign aimed at supporting children in need by providing school supplies, scholarships, and vocational training opportunities. Held in February 2025, this campaign successfully reached over 500 children across rural communities in Cameroon.
Education is one of the key pillars of Ma-Nyango’s mission, and this initiative ensured that children from low-income families received the resources they need to continue their studies. Backpacks, notebooks, stationery, and textbooks were distributed to students, along with additional assistance for those unable to afford school fees.
In addition to providing material support, the initiative also introduced career counseling and vocational training programs for young adults, equipping them with practical skills for future employment. The campaign partnered with several educators and professionals to guide students on career paths in fields such as technology, healthcare, and entrepreneurship.
A local beneficiary, 12-year-old Josephine, shared her excitement, saying, “I had no books for school, but thanks to Ma-Nyango, I now have everything I need. I want to be a doctor one day!”
Ma-Nyango plans to expand this initiative further, ensuring that every child, regardless of their circumstances, has access to education.
